What CountCrunch is
CountCrunch is a free hub of online calculators covering the math people actually need: loans, EMIs and investments (including India-specific tools like SIP, PPF, EPF and GST), health and fitness, payroll hours, and the everyday calculations of shopping, studying and planning. Every tool is free, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser.
Why we built it
Most calculator sites are either thin ad pages with a single input box, or powerful tools locked behind sign-ups and subscriptions. We wanted the middle ground that did not seem to exist: genuinely useful calculators with the formulas shown, honest about their limits, fast on any device, and free without a catch. So we built CountCrunch.
How we keep it free
The site is supported by advertising, which we keep clearly labeled and separated from the calculator controls. There is no premium tier gating features and no data-for-access trade: the calculators themselves are the product, and they are free.
How we work
- Formulas first. Every calculator names the method it uses (Mifflin-St Jeor, standard amortization, the US Navy method) and shows its working.
- Privacy by design. Your inputs never leave your browser. We cannot see your salary, weight or loan amount — and we designed it that way on purpose. See the privacy policy.
- Honest limits. Estimates are labeled as estimates, the love calculator is labeled as fun, and the disclaimer states plainly what these tools are not.
- Fast pages. No heavy frameworks, no bloat. The site works on old phones and patchy connections.
Who runs CountCrunch
CountCrunch is run by CountCrunch. Content is researched against primary sources — tax authorities, central banks, health agencies — and reviewed when rules and rates change.
